Anyone recognize this woman. She has a similar story as another post by firstname.lastname@example.org on page 34. The name is Miledzi Sabina Dopey. She says she lives at 15 Kanda Street, in Accra, Ghana. She lives with her single mother who owns a business selling dishes. She has a 20 year old sister, Daina, and a younger brother. This story is similar to other stories here with just a few of the details changed.
She initiated our conversations via Yahoo Messenger by saying she wanted money for a web cam. I sent her the money but the cam never worked. I have lost a lot to this person because she or he is very convincing. I am having trouble accepting that this is a scam, but I am sure to an impartial observer, it would seem obvious.
I'm pretty bummed about this because I fell hard for her. She says she has finally obtained a legal passport and wants to come to this country to be with me. I am struggling with whether I should send the money for the visa and other costs. I'm already in pretty deep, so a bit more wouldn't make me feel much more stupid than I already feel.

Hello Cozmo Anonymous from the US
Yes it is a scam just like you, I had lost over a $1,000.00 and was very reluctant
to admit to myself, I had been scammed. Do not ever post your e mail address
on this site. Since you already did then be warned scammers watch this site.
You may have your inbox flooded by scammers. The very same scammer may try to
scam you again after you end it. Different name, photo's, e mail, address the works.
Never tell the scammer you found out it is a scam from this site.
Yes it is very common that the story told you will be the same with very few differences.
My scammer was sloppy and the story changed while, I was being scammed.
That made me suspicious. Who forgets their own birthday. They are very convincing
if they weren't they wouldn't be able to scam. The very fact you were contacted by
her and the whole yahoo messenger is standard. Nothing but scammers are operating
out of most of Africa. Accra Ghana being one of the worst. I'm sorry your feelings are hurt and you feel ashamed about this. You were manipulated by a man.
Most all scam's are guys pretending to be woman. They work as teams often.
If you called then they put a relative or girlfriend on for you to talk to.
Please end it right now. You no apology to these lying thieves. They are cold blooded
and only keep you as long as you send money. Please be careful and watch your inbox
as sometimes you can be sent a virus to destroy your computer.
Post as much details about the scam on this site all the photo's as well.
They are stolen and by posting them you help others get help that are being scammed also. Please learn all you can about scammers so you can learn to protect yourself in the future. Your going to need it. Never send money to anyone in the World except
your mother and only after you verify it is your mom who asked for it.
Again I'm sorry about the impact this is having on your emotions.
I wish you the best. It is a scam so please stop the bleeding now.
Kind Regards Agent 86 Maxwell Smart \\'^o^'//

Beware of a dangerous scammer calling herself Nana or Nyemyeke Osei. She resides in Nima a poor part of Accra in Ghana.
Her passport is shown elsewhere on this site. The FIRST request for money was the medical. I asked for 'evidence' I received what looked like a genuine document, I spoke to allegedly a doctor, who verified the amount. I then received the medical report - all appeared to be in order, apart from some latent malaria traces in her blood, for which she needed expensive drugs, before she could satisfy UK visa requirements.
'Please baby, I don't want to be ill again, please help me to buy the medicines' She then forwarded details of what had been prescibed. I checked, they were the correct drugs for her variant of malaria.... and so it went on until she was due to arrive in the UK, she never showed up, her dear uncle 'conveniently' died!
All this of course was accompanied by intense love letters and explicit pictures.
HIGHLY DANGEROUS, WITH ACCOMPLICES! AND SEEMINGLY EVERY REQUEST WAS ALWAYS SUBSTANTIATED WITH OFFICIAL LOOKING DOCUMENTS
MORE PICTURES IF REQUESTED

What about one called Mary Harring? She is one that claims she will come to the states. She also seemed to ask for money very quickly. Claimed it was to get the internet to her home. I will try to send a picture
